Have you unleashed your businesses potential?
• Do you struggle with ongoing operational performance?
• Do customers complain about the quality of products and services?
• Do customers complain about your lead-time for products and services?
• Are your sales growing 10% every year?
We are pleased to offer a workshop on how organizations use lean management tools, techniques, and processes to deliver operational excellence. Every organization is capable of delivering better value to their customers leading to sustained growth in revenues and earnings. What many organizations lack is a system and structure to deliver and increase this compelling value.
In this workshop, designed for leaders, we will explore the following topics:
• The history of improvement
• The basic fundamentals of “lean based” improvement
• Learning how to see the opportunity, “identifying waste”?
• Eliminating waste; the principles of improvement
• Beginning improvement: how to get started
• The model for improvement: how to transform your organization
• Leadership success factors to reduce organizational risk and help ensure results.
We hope to demonstrate how lean management helps organizations:
• Simultaneously grow sales and reduce costs by double digits each year.
• Accelerate and optimize organizational performance.
• Improve quality by 50% year over year!
• Reduce lead-times by 50%.
• Deliver 99% on time performance!
• Improve productivity 25% year over year!
Expert Presenter:The workshop will be led by Ron Bercaw, the president of Breakthrough Horizons, a lean consulting company. Ron is a lean Sensei and two-time Shingo Prize award winner. He has over 35 years of operational experience across a wide variety of industries.
Please note: This workshop will also address the "Going Pro " funding that may be available to your organization. The fund provides financial awards to employers to assist with and offset costs associated with training, developing, and retaining current and newly hired employees, along with registered apprenticeships. The covered training just must lead to a credential for a skill that is transferable and recognized by industry.
Since the program’s inception in 2014, more than 5,300 awards have been provided to employers throughout Michigan, with more than 90% of funding being granted to small businesses. Last year, nearly $40 million was awarded to 1,075 companies statewide. Due to growing demand and the ongoing talent shortage, a total of $55 million will be available for Michigan job providers to apply for in the new state budget that begins Oct. 1.
